A clear understanding of the overall vision and strategy is essential for the performance. However, a clear picture of how the overall objectives are linked to the individual actions and behaviors will improve the motivation and performance of the people.

PEOPLE | BEHAVIOR & PEOPLE | ATTITUDES

People represent the intellectual capital of the company which doesn’t appear on the company balance sheet. Nevertheless, people have more value for organizations than physical assets as economic wealth is driven more and more by knowledge and information.

Intellectual capital has also been defined as the difference between a firm’s market value and the cost of replacing its assets. If managers manage knowledge effectively, their organization will enhance their intellectual capital and increase the competitive advantages of the business.
